What Are You Wearing?

I just love that dress, that print is just so unbelievably cute! It goes nicely with the vest (it's a vest right?) too!

I like that color in your hair TSC, you almost look like a character from an anime show with it because you have like huge eyes! :D
Thanks! It is the best dress! That's actually a jacket, though, not a vest. :)

Today I have on this grey dress (grey is my favorite color), and the bitchin' strappy grey boots I posted before. Going for comfort today, since I feel all bloaty from all the post Halloween Party vodka puking.

Hair up!

How did my mirror get so dusty...I just cleaned it!

A smaller T shirt. Many of my clothes seem slightly too big for me now...

Isn't that a great feeling, though? :)

The best news is that there's still more to come. MUCH more.

Today, in a neat variation, I have been trying out various new spectacle frames, for new glasses, and chose two that I like. The lenses are being cut and fitted at the moment, although due to my specialist prescription I don't know when they will be ready.

And here they are!

^Nice specs! I was excited when I found out I needed glasses. My first thought was, "Yes! A fashion accessory I need to buy!"
I hate that feeling. It means my muscles are shrinking.

My muscles never shrink. I swear, I build muscle lifting a pencil.

Today I'm wearing a grey pleated skirt I bought at a thrift shop, a maroon beret and a scarf my mother crocheted for me.

A Londoner friend of mine popped by 221B Baker Street and bought this for me:

Thanks. :) I was 6 when I got my first pair of glasses, a pair of these huge metal-rimmed 80s things. They made me look ridiculous, but I could see the blackboard at school clearly for the first time in my life, so they must have been doing something right. :p

^That's what I was going to say! tsc would totally fit in in Paris! I imagine at least. haven't been there in spite of having a half french cousin ^^;;

The obsessive crocheter in me wants to know more about that scarf, particularly the fringe technique...

Right now I'm in bed, so wearing a holey black t-shirt and cotton panties. And four layers of blankets.

^It looks like she used a large gauge hook on heavy yarn, double crocheted straight across in rows. I don't know her fringe technique...I think it was patience!

Here's the fab Bowie tee I got at a thrift store in Denver. It's been warm out for autumn!

Fab Bowie tee!

I am wearing a black tshirt that says, "SCIENCE: It works, B*tches." And a pair of black pants.

I don't have it in any color. :(

Wearing my usual gym outfit: polkadot leggings and black tunic. I couldn't believe that the long sleeves were too warm on November 1!

Running clothes, just back from a 4km jog/fast walk. Trying to get fit and lose weight. Already lost 10kg/20lbs.

Congratulations! That's such a great feeling. I used to love running -- did 4-5 miles a day until I broke my foot. Now I bike instead.

Yesterday's outfit felt fabulous...it was super warm out. Nothing vintage, but everything but the shoes and bag came from discount stores. The black leather fingerless elbow gloves are one of my all time favorite finds.

Today it's dropped about 20º, not sure what I'll wear.
