While using Stumbleupon earlier I found this rather nice website and decided to use an image of the Jedi Temple as my desktop background.
Very cool. I like the look of the Coruscant cityscape during the daytime more than I do at night. Good choice.
I'm a nightscape person, myself. I'd love to explore Coruscant, though. Global city? Awesome. Well... except for the lack of green grass, and arid fields. I would miss that terribly. Had to change my wallpaper, as the one I had the other day is so bright it almost blinds me (it's much brighter in person).
Thanks. Yeah, I didn't even start using it until today. When it comes to my Trek, Wars and political/historical wallpapers I'm really stubborn when it comes to switching them for something like this, but I have such a lifetime adoration for Halloween that I didn't want to have just another starship, cybernetic villain or map on my screen for the holiday.
Perfectly reasonable! I usually change my wallpaper once a week, sometimes more if the feeling strikes me. Then there are the wallpapers I love so much I keep them for months at a time. That happened with one of my old pony wallpapers. Kept it for 3 straight months. It was a Fluttershy wallpaper, and her, combined with the yellows and greens, were just so soothing.
I've used electoral maps and maps of county-by-county Presidential vote breakdowns for wallpaper, so Jack O'Lanterns and owls is actually something of a shift in the direction of "normal" for me. My criteria for desktop wallpaper is basically: 1.) Do I like it? And 2.) Do I like it?
Mine reflects whatever show I am watching or rewatching at the moment usually. Well, this one's on my laptop, which I use more. My desktop has a screencap of Talyn (Crais' ship) from Farscape and it's been the same for years.
Looks like some kind of space show, similar to that one show, you know, that one with action, adventure way out on the frontier, where they all pack pistols and take down the villains. You know, Gunsmoke?
