It seems that Thor: The Dark World, like The Avengers, is set to have two credits scenes.

Isn't the next movie in the line up Captain America 2? If so, I bet the end credits scene will set that movie up in a way.

The first reviews are starting to trickle in...

Also, Chris Hemsworth reveals that he is under contract for three more movies. A third Thor film and two more Avengers films, although he says that he would be open to continuing the character beyond that.

Chris Evans has a cameo, but not as Steve Rogers. Loki briefly creates an illusion that he is Cap.

I didn't read the whole review, just saw the rating, but Empire gave it 4 stars. I have my tickets booked, my cinema is showing Thor followed by a midnight showing of Thor: The Dark World.

Hmm, pretty much sounds like if you enjoyed the first movie, you'll enjoy this one. Although I do share that one reviewer's growing boredom with all the Evil, Life-Destroying Energy Weapons at the end of superhero movies.

I'll be forever grateful if I never have to see another energy beam shooting into the sky with the goal of either opening a portal, destroying all human life, or turning everyone into lizards and mutants. Lol

In the end, that humorous approach is largely the film’s saving grace, keeping the action sufficiently lively and diverting that audiences won’t recognize how recycled the material is, or how low the stakes feel. Disposable as it may feel at the end of the day, “Thor: The Dark World” is not without a certain pleasing deftness, from its goofily offhand way of finding scientific explanations for blatantly supernatural phenomena, to the blithe ease with which it sends its characters hopscotching from one dimension to the next. This latter motif succeeds in turning film’s climactic showdown into a playful exercise in physical displacement, shot and edited with a bit more coherence than the typical f/x orgy of exploding buildings. And a few neat twists throughout hinge on the Asgardians’ talent for shapeshifting, which functions here like the magical equivalent of characters peeling off latex masks a la “Mission: Impossible.”

Pretty good. Liked the action and the visuals, villain was very thin (menacing, but thin).

As for the other one, it's not anything major, but it's not completely pointless either. If you've watched all the other clips at the ends of the other movies I don't see why you wouldn't wait for this one.
