News about early 2014 schedule

Now I need to take a deep breath so as not to get my hopes high for another KRAD Trek novel... ;)

Klingon Art of War isn't done by Simon & Schuster directly, but by Becker & Mayer, so a totally independent/different creative team behind it.

Sadly I think this book won't have much effect on the chances of another KRAD ST novel in the near future. :scream:

^They're the company that did Federation: The First 150 Years, The Star Trek Vault, and some craft books.

The Star Trek Vault I wasn't too impressed with. Sure it had a few interesting things, but I didn't feel that it really lived up to its hype or even the price tag.

Just preordered Una McCormack's TNG offering Home Again for kindle. Says it will be delivered on December 1, 2014. Seems an odd date since all the other Trek novels seem to be end of month releases.

Did I miss an announcement somewhere about this?

It was first sighted about half a year ago, but back then nobody could really say if it is a legit book or just a glitch in Amazon's system (after all it wouldn't be the first time that they would list a ST book that never happens).

I guess with the return of more regular eBook novellas the chances that it is legit have somewhat increased, but it is still odd that this one appeared so early in the amazon listing, and as far as I'm aware it isn't listed anywhere else (?).

So until we get official word from Una, or it appears on S&S' site I'm still leaning toward glitch in the system.

Thanks for that! :)

So...what else do you think we're going to get? We know Jan to April (the next Voyager, TOS/Voyager crossover, the next Rise of the Federation, TOS) and we know two Seekers books are coming later, and we know DRG3 has something in The Lost Era coming out.

That leaves 5 more slots.

I'm thinking two other TOS novels, one Titan novel, and a pair of TNG and/or Typhon Pact and/or whatever they're calling the big-picture 24th century ongoing narrative books this time.

I'm hoping for a possible second voyager novel or maybe...maybe...another New Frontier novel? One can only hope

I hope there's not more TOS, but Pocket has rarely liked to satisfy me on that score.

Dare I admit that I'm working on a new TOS outline? :)

Yay!

Don't listen to them. Please don't stop writing TOS, Greg, you do it so well! :)
