Still all these Star Wars threads are proof of why I think people under 500 posts or a couple months shouldn't be able to start threads. Or at least only start one a day.

Five hundred posts before a new thread seems extreme, as some Cadets pose valid questions. Perhaps if mods detect a pattern of pointlessness, some sort of probationary rank (like Permanent Latrine Orderly) could be applied until they shape up.

We've got one new guy (not naming names) who also seems to post unusual threads, but his profile said he was 15, so I'm willing to give that one benefit of the doubt, as the questions are usually common with the type of someone not familiar with the franchise.
