Which era do you prefer, the 23rd or 24th Century?

24th for me. Somehow, the universe seems bigger in the 24th century. Atleast, to me it does. :)

Tough, the 23rd seems more exciting and the 24th more comfortable. Can I have the comforts of the 24th and the fun of the 23rd? Or do i have to wait to the 25th century for that?

Did Archer ever actually put someone out an airlock, or just threaten to? Because he was about as threatening as a wet noodle.

Considering the bulk of the Star trek Mythos is in the 24th century, I would have to say the 24th. Post Dominion War, though.

Late 23rd-Century (in particular, Star Treks II-VI). It might have been the era that Roddenberry had the least direct influence on with Starfleet depicted mainly as a peacekeeping force, but it was still about heroes boldly going forward into territory unknown to them.

He did put a guy in an airlock and began decompressing it, but he wussed out when the guy had 10 seconds of air left.

One time he obliterated a Xindi communications station before it could send a signal of their presence. He worried about the 3 lives killed for about 3 seconds.

He put an Osaarian in an airlock and began to depressurize it to make the Osaarian talk.
