Avengers 2 News, Rumors, Etc. Pictures until release...

Didn't ScarJo use a Russian accent in Iron Man 2? I haven't seen it in a while but I seem to recall her doing it, because when Avengers rolled around I thought it was funny that she dropped the accent already.

I've a feeling she'll be in something similar to the Black Widow's uniform only in red. There might be some seams or piping to suggest the "bathing suit" portion of her classic costume. Not sure how they can work a variation of the head dress into the costume. I wonder if they'll give her a central or eastern European accent? Nightcrawler is the only Marvel character I can think of to retain his accent in a film. (at least on the heroside)
They had a story about this on IGN, and they mentioned this Ultimate costume, and I could see her wearing something pretty similar to that in the MCU. Or maybe something like this 616 costume.

I can't see either one working in the MCU. The first one is appropriate for a girls night out at a club. The second one seems impractical for action-adventure.

Superhero costumers tend to be pretty silly. But as long as they don't put nipples on the suit, it should be fine.;)

The MCU has been pretty "grounded" for the most part. Even Thor and Cap are less leotard and more body armor.

There are plenty of things they can do with realistic clothing to get across the idea that she's a witch. Just have her dress like Stevie Nicks or something.

Will she be a witch though? In the MCU, Thor is seen as an alien, not an actual god. Of course Wanda wasn't a witch originally, just a mutant who powers made people think she was using magic. Later she did acquire mystical abilities. OTOH, the "M" word is forbidden in the MCU. ;)

^Better than that leather Ultimates costume...that's pathetically generic. She can dress like a RennRat...she can dress like she's Loki's girlfriend....

Probably be red leather, like the second picture, but cut off at the slit and a more tamed headband, and maybe even some kind of cape (Only to be worn at certain times, whatever those may be, not an all the time part of the costume)

Won't be when Doctor Strange comes in, in Phase Three. Might as well get the ball rolling now.

"M" is for mutant, not magic. Thor more or less implies that magic is just a science humans haven't discovered yet. Doctor Strange might turn that on its head though and make it old school magic again.

What about her modern costume? It's a long coat/dress thing. No leotards there. Though it may look too much like X-Men 3 Dark Phoenix for them to use.
