ARGH.
OK. I have tried to collect the images and post a voting thread twice now. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I have done it once before...so I know I can post a poll, but it is not working tonight. I'll look at my notes from last time and try again tomorrow.
I am too frustrated to try again tonight.

What part is not working? Collecting the images or creating the poll? Polls are a pain in the neck.

I found the best way was to have two windows open, one with the entry thread, so I can copy the image info and the contestant's names, and the voting thread which I can paste that info into.

^Exactly. I open the original entry thread and then open another window for the new Voting thread. I then just copy and paste. I find it easier if I have done a "recap" of the entries in the entry thread; I can then just copy that entire post and paste in into the voting thread. Easy Peasy.
You can also just copy and paste the names into the poll if you like, as well.
Let me know if you still need help or want me to do it for you.

Or you can multi-quote all the original entries, edit that whole thing till you just have the names & images, then copy & paste into the voting thread.
Then, keeping the multi-quote thing open in the entry thread, you have the list of names to look at for the poll to make sure you don't omit anyone.

I use two tabs, copying and pasting from the Entry to the Voting thread, and at the same time past into Notepad, which I then use to create the poll, in the hopes of not missing anyone.

Sorry, life got in the way yesterday and I couldn't come play.
Thanks everyone. I have been using the multiquote, edit, then copy and paste option. When I tried to submit a recap list the BBS told me I had to have at least one character to post. So clearly I did something that the BBS didn't like!
I'll try again as soon as I have my coffee!

I fixed it. You accidentally deleted the bracket after the first Quote tag, so it messed up the formatting a bit.

The reason it did that is because the board software won't accept a post that is nothing but quote. All you have to is type in a little message of your own, like "Here is the list." Technically, all you'd have to do is type in a period or something.
