So, the topic this time is Famous (or favourite) paintings. They can be works of art from old masters or contemporary artists. Any style or subject is fine.

How long should I keep the entry thread up? I was thinking of trying to put the voting thread up Thursday evening.

And how long are voting threads usually active? (I really should know this, considering how often I vote in these threads...but I don't! )

^I usually keep the entry thread up for 4/5 days, tops. The voting thread I usually only run for 3 full days. Longer than that, people will forget, the thread drops to the second or third page and just vanishes from everyone's thoughts.

Just be sure to link the voting thread to the entry thread, so people will find it. (takes five dollars from Ghost)

One way around the dreaded "thread drop" is to post "only 2 more days", "only 24 hours".

I've gone 4-5 days for the voting, some people might not post for a few days at a time.
