I feel that these other Corps are not interesting enough to sustain an ongoing series... I couldn't stand Red Lanterns...

Interesting, especially the part about the Crime Syndicate. I'm particularly looking forward to that book.

I'm wondering about that, since the Secret Society has been given the big push in JLA recently and assume will be a big part of Forever Evil. Will the CSA be showing up or is that a mistake? They've laid some ground work for that with Volthoom and Thomas Wayne, jr.

In the new continuity, Nightwing isn't really that important to the cohesiveness of the DCU anymore, is he? The Teen Titans never existed, right? So basically he's only part of the Bat family?

Yep, he's just the former Robin. He and Arsenal are the only original Teen Titans to make the New 52 transition. Wally, Donna and Garth are in the land of neverwas.

It's weird when you feel compelled to mention Aqualad as if he mattered.

Although, maybe now that the Young Justice toon has been cancelled, kaldur'ahm vs. Garth can be judged on their own merits without the Saturday Morning people swinging their huge winkle around.

of course this is the second time that the New teen Titans have been responsible/benefited from the cancellation of Young Justice.

    That's a pattern.

Patterns suggest the sociopathic drives of a serial killer.

That reminds me, Geoff Johns spends all that time setting up Aqualad in Brightest Day and the Young Justice cartoon.... only for him to promptly disappear from the face of comics. He doesn't even seem to exist in the new continuity. WTF?

I never noticed the similarity between the spelling of exist and sexist.

    Hell.

Exists is (almost) piglatin for sexist.

Now lets just explore the existential relationship between these two concepts.

Or I could go fry up breakfast.

    Wow.

Exist and exits have completely polar definitions.

    (never mind.)

Stixs is the worst band in the Universe right?

Who knows what might happen. He's introduced Tula (Aquagirl) into the New 52 Aquaman series. And I think there was a mention of Garth's home of Shayeris and a purple eyed boy.

Garth was mentioned very quickly in the first issue of Red Hood and the Outlaws by Roy trying to jog Kori's memory. He also mentioned Dick, Lilith, Gar, and Vic. That interesting considering that in the New 52 Cyborg was Justice League from the start, and there was never a Teen Titans for all of them to be members of before.

I wonder if both Khaldur and Garth will be introduced since the newest storyline has Mera going back to her home dimension, which was tied with Khaldur's origin in his Brightest Day. Interesting enough, in YJ the three of them were suppose to be Weisman's nod to the Harry Potter franchise.

A lot of the early premises changed. The New 52 Titans were supposed to be the latest incarnation of the team. Now they are the only Titans. In interviews Scott Lobdell stated that Superboy was the original (cloned) who had just been missing for 6 months. Tim Drake was still a former Robin instead of having been only Red Robin.

This is not going to last.

I'm not saying that 5 years from now that there's going to be a reboot, but if there's isn't a reboot in 5 years from now, the assistant editors are not going to have the strength to say one more time "Dude, the Silver age never happened. rewrite this shit."

I see nothing wrong with a reboot every few years. No reason continuity has to bog things down.

If/when they reboot they need to actually commit to it though. None of the weak-assed most things reboot but a few things continue because they sell. Have the balls to blow it all up and start from scratch.

Doesn't Garth exist in the Ravagers, or is it a different Beast Boy?

But they both answer to "Garry".
