    new DS9 looks brilliant, like what looks like a forest part on the station, unless its a shuttle station

    Meh, it looks kinda fugly. I see nothing of the grace and timelessness of the original studio model. Sorry.

    There's a topic in the TrekLit section where we've been talking about this for about three weeks or so now. This cover was released on DRGIII's facebook page a few weeks ago, and some new shots have been revealed in interviews on startrek.com.     Perhaps not fugly, but right; especially the pylons seem to be there only for optics...

    The design makes sense--super deflector rings. That'll make one hell of a shield bubble.

    It looks interesting but you never see the overall design of the station. I wish they would do a nice web page with a 3d representation, sketches and such...
