The fact that it’s Audio seems to be the biggest issue for him.

It says specifically on every movie ever made that duplication, even without profit, is a criminal offense. They can say they don't intend to infringe, but that's exactly what they're doing by the law. It's like throwing paper on the street and saying "we don't intend to litter." Sorry, but you're doing it, and there will doubtless be consequences if you continue doing it.”

The stories based after Londo’s death. Don’t know what jms is looking at – and it’s no doubt splitting hairs – but as far as I can see they don’t claim “this is non-profit and thus not infringement” as jms suggests.

The last, best hope for Babylon 5 Fan made audio drama

Novo Babylonia - a fan made continuation of one of the greatest Sci-Fi saga’s of all time. Produced entirely by volunteers, everything from the music and sound to the writing and acting are done by fans.

I used to love listening to audio dramas. I'll grab these and try them out!

I'm a bit bummed that JMS had that reaction.

I'm very old, good friends with Tony Lunn the creator of Novo Babylonia. He is very sadden by JMS reaction to this. Talking about it this morning, he's really worried about receiving a cease and desist letter from Warner Brothers. Until then he intends on carrying on, should be releasing a new episode soon. Be on the look out.
