12 years. It never seems like that long, but when I realize that Voyager still had about four or five new episodes left to air when I joined up it all starts to fall into place and make sense.

My first thread was about it being time for Trek to have a gay main character. It was not well received, I think largely because there had been a whole bunch of discussions on the exact same topic in the preceding few months. (Probably because Enterprise represented the first major influx of new main characters in seven years.)
My 12th anniversary was April 26th! Totally forgot about it. So yeah, I'm an old timer!

Hey, I'm #64, apparently (although I remember that I had to register again after the Great Board Crash) How many of you were around before me and are still active, I wonder?
It's funny, because it's never been discussed since, so I guess you settled it.

I had a 10 year anniversary in March. Completely forgot about it. It's amazing how when you first get here you care about that kind of thing. Then a few years later it just doesn't seem to matter all that much. Time Flies when you're having fun I guess.
