Mazda 6 is the successor of the classic Mazda 626, just like Mazda 3 which replaced the old 323 model.Oh, and Mazda 6? What happened to the first five Mazdas?

LOL, had you made that reference in June or something, I just might have gotten it.I was actually making an obviously lame or too obscure reference to "The Ultimate Computer", where McCoy asks Daystrom why it's called the M-5 computer and not M-1.
The First 3 Mazdas blew up before Construction was finished. The 4th Mazda was sent back in time, and Mazda 5 endured and became a symbol of Hope for 1000s of years. This is not your father's Oldsmobile. This is the new generation of Olds. That's the first thing that popped into my head.
Neat commercial really.
Oh, and Mazda 6? What happened to the first five Mazdas?
Bah. If it's not powered by a Wankel, it's no Mazda. Wake me when Mazda does tie-in advertising for the new RX-7.

Planning a long nap, then?
When I saw this thead title, I thought it was about Uhura.
My dad's old firm had one in the mid nineties. I rode in it myself a couple of times. It ran smoothly for over 200,000 miles before they SOLD it (to another firm), still in pretty good condition. My mother had a 626, piece of junk, never worked; then again, my parents knew nothing about cars. Still prefer my Ford but that's just me.
