Reports of explosions at 2013 Boston Marathon

The link above gives more details on what is happening. There were two explosions, worse still they happened in a very close interval, and from the pictures I've seen...

Ugly, very ugly.

They showed a picture from across the river and the smoke cloud from the bombing, it was like a mini 9-11. It's a beautiful clear day and this smoke cloud goes by.

What kind of message does a terrorist intend to send by bombing a sporting event!? I can sort of understand the implied meaning of slamming planes into the WTC but when the topic of bombing the olympics comes up... and of today's atrocious events I just find myself grasping to understand the underlying meaning. Maybe Boston's security was weak? I can't fathom that since the USA seems pretty competent these days about having lots of officers and security on the ground at these kinds of events. Perplexing, gruesome and disappointing.

I am about 20 miles from there right now. There were at least 4 bombs with ball bearings, 2 bombs went off the other 2 (and possibly more) did not go off. 23 injured and 2 are dead.

It's either the work of a psychotic madman, or a terrorist group or -- heaven forbid -- a false flag attack. What really disturbs me is the small time interval between the two explosions, it smacks of coordination or remote detonation or both.

I agree, more so if the damn camera guy gets in the way.

But at the same time I feel that everyone has the right to know every bit of info possible, so I posted them. But the pictures are horrible, so I'm warning everyone now.
