Just read far enough back to see your original question on the gaps.
The sections were placed together in late spring/early summer when the temp in the building was around 100 daily. At that time we did a fair job of minimizing the gaps. During the summer temps in the build were around 130/140, it was not possible to work inside during the daytime. The wood expanded quite a bit during this time.
The clips you have seen lately were taken when the temps were in the 30's most of the time and the gaps are at their largest as the wood had shrunk over the winter. As temps rise the gaps are already getting smaller again.
