I really enjoyed your first episode. I love the idea of the smaller stories that take place within the TOS universe. Your art design was is nice blend of TOS elements and plausible futuristic looking extrapolations...I'm eagerly awaiting the first installment of the second episode!

    OMG!! WTF??

THIS is gonna be a good one! We need to have a live-action Kara and T'Ling appear on Starship Ajax...thoughts?

Now that's what I call a teaser! :) Did not see that switch coming. First film was excellent and sure this will be too. Though unlike others, hope you don't go too far down the unsubtle T&A route. Just sayin' :)

Let's get two full separate episodes of each production out... then do the crossover!

I can sense that Tim cares a great deal about his characters. He's been working with them for so long now. I doubt he'd want to see them merely objectified. However, I also know how hard it is to cut through the signal-to-noise on the internet, and how some people criticized the first film as being too slow and too "Hallmark Hall of Fame". I know how hard it is trying to find the right balance.

Oh, good grief. People said that (in more than marginal numbers)?!? The first Aurora episode was magnificent.

You are correct, Mos6507--I'm committed to these characters, and I don't want to cheapen them. That said, this new movie will be different in tone from the first one--it will be primarily a comedy, with a little sexiness, but only as much sexiness as will figure into the plot--honest! ;-) Seriously, I'm looking forward to showing Kara and T'Ling in a different kind of story while staying true to the characters established in the first movie. Hopefully it will work out!

Besides, Kara-Prime materialized naked upon the transporter almost entwined with her alternate timeline self in the the previous story, so a lil' bit of skin is nothing nude, er, new for Vining's material.

    Sincerely,

    Bill

Hey, that was explained in the most scientific terms, and was essential to the plot! ;-). (Actually, it really was!)

Loved the first movie. Definitely looking forward to the 2nd.

Is it just me or does the captain look a whole lot like April O'neil from the original animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series?

Also, one quick questions. Were your characters created in Poser and what software did you do all the modeling and animating in? Well, I guess that was two questions.

    Hey Tralfaz,

Thanks! Yes that was pointed out to me some time ago about April O'neill. TMJT was a little after my time, so I didn't watch it, but there is a resemblance.

The characters are Daz characters, animated in Poser, and rendered in Cinema 4D. Sets are a mix of Poser/Daz content and original content, peppered with bits and pieces gleaned from the internet. More extensive description of my process is at:
