I believe it's considered trolling, in that it's perceived as an attempt to incite a reaction from the blocked party.
Ah, alright. Well, I can understand that, except of course that putting someone on your ignore list usually means that you don't want to interact with them at all, so why would you want to incite any reaction? But hey, those are the rules, who am I to disagree?

Did not know about that rule. Ah well, too late.

I didn't know that either if it helps!

I've had a couple of people on ignore, in the end both came off it, just because I found it more annoying not knowing what they were saying :)

Why are you announcing it if you want nothing to do with them? Wouldn't it make much more sense to, I don't know, ignore them?

My only complaint is that Strax isn't a regular companion. At least he's appearing again based on the preview trailer.

I can't objectively say which my favorite is because right now it might be The Snowmen, but I want to give it some time to sink in before I'm sure I actually mean that and I'm not just hyped on new Who.

My least favorite is Voyage of the Damned, though.

My least favorite was last year. I haven't seen the earlier ones in a long time, though. This year and the Christmas Carol were quite good, though.

At one point over the holidays I had eaten too many sweets and wanted to nosh on some real food. In a similar fashion, lately Doctor Who has just not felt substantial enough to me. While the Doctor battling a snow globe is part of the charm I just don't feel the dramatics have been given enough care nor do I think those childlike qualities are working well enough to offset. Sorry for the bah, humbug.

I thought Wardrobe was perfectly fine, myself. Of course I also liked Next Doctor, so what do I know?

Christmas Carol is still easily the best though. And Voyage the worst.

One thing was kinda weird. This time around there was almost no damage to the city.
Remember when people actually left London over Christmas to get away from the chaos that usually haunts the city during those days?

That was RTD's doing

Modern London has been spared for the last three Christmas specials thanks to Moffat

And they seem to be doing just fine without someone shouting

"oh we can't even tie our shoes without the doctor! Who will save us?!"

Prefer Snowmen to Wardrobe. Carol, hmm, tricky little story, gorgeous singing, but the story was a little slight too. All the stories are, I suppose, but it's about family fun not deep and gritty.
