The Action Figure and Toy Collecting and Discussion Thread!

Is it wrong that for the past few days, I've just been WAITING to see the 12 Toys of Christmas pic for the day?

Not wrong at all. It makes me feel awesome. I actually put quite a bit of time into this, creating all the little mini battles that the keen eyed will spot. My favorite for this day is Vader choking Hawkeye. The one problem is that as more and more figures enter the mix, it becomes harder to do them.

Thanks again for all your hard work assembling the figures for these photos, man. We all seem to be loving them....I can't wait to see the next six days of the countdown. ;)

I'd post my own faux-Nativity, but's lame compared to this (and I can't recall how to post pictures anyway).

Hey, don't sell yourself short! I enjoy the table and desktop adventures of Hawkeye and Black Widow tackling Christmas cooking, decorations and other everyday minutae.

They do look like they're having fun. :)

Looks like Wave 4 of the Star Wars 2012 Movie Heroes line might see some very late distribution in the U.S. early next year if what a friend on a collecting site told me has any weight to it. Places like Singapore and Scandinavia have already seen local collectors get their hands on the four figures in this new wave so it shouldn't be too much longer before American versions of these start trickling into the country or hitting eBay.

I really want that new light-up Anakin and the Sandtrooper with the light-up concussion grenade cannon.

As fun as this has been, I'm glad that there's only two days left. The amount of figures I'm trying to squeeze into one space and find interesting things for them to do is getting ridiculous.

On this day, the casualties begin to stack up. And yes, my Moody is broken. His arm snapped right off a long time ago, and is almost impossible to glue. It sits pretty firmly in the socket as long as you don't move him too much, though. The NECA Harry Potter figures were fraught with QC issues. Ron's arm broke off too, but was glueable. Hermione no longer has her wand, since it snapped in half. Bellatrix and Voldemort cannot stand up without support.

Actually, Vader is pointing at movie Spider-Man. Kyle was busy chopping off Mad-Eye's arm. Now that you mention it, though, I'm definitely gonna make sure they're dueling tomorrow.

Is that Hermione beating up Hawkeye? :guffaw:

Hawkeye and Black Widow have helped me decorate and bake cookies. Tonight, they helped me wrap presents!

I wish it would snow. I can't wait to have Clintasha snow angels and snowball fights!
