Did something like this ever happen? Just curious, somebody came up with the idea in a noncomic book related podcast i happened to be listening too.
The Cissie King-Jones version of Arrowette/Artemis in the comics was the illegitimate daughter of Green Arrow.
Yes and no. Bonnie (Cissie's mother) DID date GA for a time. The Denny O'neil mini-series "The Ring, The Arrow, and the Bat" implies that Arrowette is Ollie's daughter, and Bonnie flat out says he's the father duing the story where Cissie guest-stars in "Wendy the Werewolf Stalker" (YJ Vol1 #31-33). Many people try to laugh the last bit off, but she does say it. http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h209/7p7/arrowette-greenarrow.jpg On an old YJ fansite, one fan even found a scene in an old Green Arrow story that may well be when Bonnie tries to confront GA with her pregnancy. The woman in the scene is consistent with the portrayal of Bonnie at the time, but no names are used. (It DOES however, make it clear that Playboy Ollie has fathered more children than the ones that are officially acknowledged in any event.)
Well, it's "comic book time" anyways...wouldn't be the first time we just had to "ignore" something like that.
I generally don't like Superheroes, but there are some exceptions like whoever starred in Ex Machina. Who are the most atypical superheroes who have comics about them which are conistent in terms of continuity?
