Not only that, but the quotation marks are inconsistent.

And tell me, that "G" is that how it's supposed to look? -It's very different from the way I was taught to write!

 

Yeah, that's a capital cursive G. I mean, not a great one, but that's the general shape.

Your version is just more slanty and has fewer loops, but the general shape is pretty much the same.

 

^I've searched that image and the only thing I get is people poking fun at it -in much the same way it pokes fun at something....

Thing is: I haven't got the faintest idea just exactly what that something is

Did give me something to google though.

 

Good Lord. That's a lot of" unnecessary" "quotation" "marks," and there's some fairly Random decision-making On capitalization, As Well.

 

^That's the comment I found while searching around for meaning of that image

AND which writing to use for capitalization! some of those are cursive (the G) and some aren't (most, if not all, of the rest -they definitely aren't the capitals I was taught back in the seventies).
