However--I'm still wondering if she'd shot Bond on purpose....
That's obviously what we're *supposed* to wonder...

Well, no reason he couldn't get her at the end...only to find out she's also just looking for some theraputic nooky before moving onto the next assignment or whatever.I actually wouldn't mind seeing a Moonraker style ending where he tells the Bond girl he loves her and she reveals she's married (or engaged, it's been a while since I've read it).
I'm not suggesting it need happen every film, but I just want one Craig film where he ends up in the arms of the Bond girl. I'm sure a lot of others would love to see that too.
Based on a few lines of dialogue from Casino Royale, I think the Craig Bond prefers married women anyways. "Less complicated."
That's also a lot like the Fleming Bond.Based on a few lines of dialogue from Casino Royale, I think the Craig Bond prefers married women anyways. "Less complicated."
I just want to see Craig end one of his films in the arms of the main Bond girl. I have a feeling it's not going to happen in this one. That's one staple I'd wish they'd return to the series, like they have with Q.

Even based on the trailer, it's very apparent that it's an accident. Eve is aiming at Patrice (the man Bond is fighting on the train) and misses, hitting Bond by mistake.
As for Eve vs. Severine, I believe Eve is the main Bond girl.
Severine is killed by Silva midway through the film
Rumours had been rife that once Skyfall was released, Daniel Craig’s third movie as James Bond 007, that the actor would relinquish the role, and pass the tuxedo onto someone else. After all, Skyfall is the last Bond movie that Daniel Craig is apparently formally contracted to make, although he was always said to have first option on further adventures.
Seems Craig has signed on for two more films after Skyfall:

While it's not official confirmation, and it could all be a bunch of nonsense. If it is true, I think it's fantastic. I loved Brosnan and always wish he did one more, now it appears Craig will get to do five films, and that seems like a nice solid number to end on.
Also, in other news, it appears Skyfall's runtime will be two hours and twenty five minutes, making it around the same length as Casino Royale.
