Q Who? Commentary

Did you guys see this?

http://tng.trekcore.com/bluray/270812_qwhocomm.html

One of my top 10, if not top 5, of the series. It's the first time we got the feeling the crew were utterly helpless.

Fingers are crossed! :borg:

Robert Meyer Burnett tweeted a few days ago that the recording of the "Q Who" commentary wasn't going.. er... well. Here's what he had to say about it.

"Yes, someone was recording a commentary for "Q Who?" The track goes off in this direction..."

Looks like we're going to get participants who only talk about what's happening on screen rather than insightful info on the creation of the episode and the borg.

Hmm...kind of a cryptic tweet. I'm still hoping for something.

I wonder if on future sets CBS will include the commentaries from the Fan Collectives, and maybe new commentaries on those same episodes.

To be fair, I kind of doubt we'd get any behind the scenes dirt in the commentary, because the stuff they've been doing has avoided going in that direction and doing this episode would probably involve talking about Maurice Hurley, who is someone that CBS and Paramount probably don't want us to hear about.

It reads to me like he's just paraphrasing a famous line from Star Wars... where are you getting all that negativity and specificity from such a simple, plain statement that someone (unnamed) was recording a commentary for "Q Who?"
