I agree. Alcide looks stupid with a shaved chest. Then again, I find the character useless. What's he around for except to look pretty? Give me Bill and Sam with their natural looking chest hair any day.

I agree, Lilith is "blessed," but I guess it's not the kind of thing that bothers my female heterosexual tendencies. I sense she's supposed to be animalistic and wild and all that. The actress might well be wearing a merkin to enhance the look. It's just what you're accustomed to seeing that makes you think she's too "wild"....and I still think there aren't any waxing shops in the hereafter so it would look stupid.

It occurs to me that early in the season, or perhaps just before the season aired, EW did an interview with Anna. In that, she said that we were going to see Anna playing two characters - Sookie and somebody else who looks just like her, in the season finale. That's this weekend.

I'd forgotten about it until now. I wonder ... well first, off, why is she getting the duplicate, and who will the dupe be? A fairy? A vampire? Will they be related, cloned, or what?

Maybe Bill will see Sookie as Lilith in a vision. I wouldn't put it past these writers. Or perhaps not--how pregnant was Anna Paquin by then? She seems to be in a lot of wraps now and there are tighter camera shots of her. She's got to be pretty close to delivering her twins by now.

I'm guessing it will be a flashback to the last fae born female of the Stackhouse family (who looks just like Sookie) who Warlow was obsessed with back in the 18th century, and that Warlow is a vampire/fae hybrid (which is why Sookie can read his thoughts, unlike vampires) looking for an eternal mate in Sookie.

Ah, I didn't know Anna Paquin was pregnant. No wonder she's had no nude scenes.

My favorite part of this episode was Sam and Pam passing in the hallway: "What are you doing here?" "What are you doing here?" "Help Luna." "Who the fuck is Luna?"

So what is Lilith up to? Trying to select the most badass vampire through unnatural selection? Or is it somebody posing as Lilith trying to divide and conquer from within? Or is everybody hallucinating and they all believe themselves to be the Chosen One? That would be hilarious.

Yeah, Lilith needs a wax and a trim too.

There are bits and pieces (mostly characters rather than their literary arcs) but that's about it..

Honestly, I'm fine with that.. The books have become tedieous and forgettable.. The last one wasn't as bad as the couple previous, but I still couldn't tell you the plot right off the top of my head...
