Nah, it was fine the way it was presented.

If the thread title says "spoilers," I don't bother with spoiler code.

Good point. I guess i just wanted to cover all my bases as this is a pretty big damn spoiler.

Meh. If you haven't seen it by now, I'm guessing you don't care that much about spoilers anyway.

That's a rather cavalier attitude to have about something like this, don't you think?

I mean, yeah I get it - this thread is already marked as being spoilerific, but jeez. Not everyone makes it their priority to go to the movies when they first come out.

I just woke up. I'm not worried about other people's feelings right now.

It's called being considerate. Not really seeing why it's such a difficult concept to understand.

All I'm saying is that if you haven't seen the movie but are still reading the spoiler thread that you probably don't care if you see a spoiler.

If this was a discussion thread for someone who hadn't seen the film yet, I would be more considerate.

I get that. My last post was in response to your previous comment about not caring about other people's feelings because "you just woke up," as if that's some kind of get-out-of-jail-free card. But I see how I misunderstood what you were saying.

People also have this habit of taking everything I say here way too seriously. It's almost like they can't see my smiling face or hear the tone of my voice!

If I hadn't seen TDKR and saw this on someone's facebook page, I might be pissed off. But if someone ventures into page 60 or so of a thread clearly marked 'spoilers', I think they might just have to expect, well, spoilers...

    I had to share this:

What if Batman and Robin was a good movie:

The stupid costumes, set-design, Gotham architecture, and over-emoting by Chris O'Donnell sort of make it harder to "sell" but it's a well done re-edit for a trailer.

Don't know if TDKR is still playing anywhere---certainly not here locally---but even with my quibbles I'll still be picking this up on disc. If they package the trilogy together on Blu-Ray then that's what I'll probably go for.

I thought about buying the blu rays, but I read that they switch aspect ratio/change the letterbox for the IMAX scenes from 2.4:1 to 16:9. I'm not sure if I'll like that or not.

I have both on Blu-Ray. This only happens with The Dark Knight. It looks fantastic, but I suggest playing it only on an HD TV.

Do you live in a small town with only one small theater? The Avengers is still playing here!

Yeah, we have a very nice multi-screen theatre, but it's the only game around.
