Should there still be a future for Titan?

Just put Spock on the cover, he looks the same.

Honestly, if there wasn't a series set in the Delta Quadrant I'd be all for it, but as long as we have a whole fleet of ships out in the DQ I don't see why it would be necessary to work it's races into the other series.
Because those are the most neglected races in Treklit, also there so many of them taht it's unlikely that writers will have to argue about which race to expand on.
But the only reason they're the neglected races in Trek Lit is because up until Kirsten Beyer's Voyager books there weren't any Litverse books set in the DQ. Now we do have a DQ set series with Kirsten's Voyager books, so I think until that series is over they should be the ones to handle any races introduced in VOY. Now there are a couple races, like the Vaadwaur and the Voth, who are to powerful enough that they could pop up in the AQ\BQ, but if they were to be brought back I'd still prefer it was in a VOY book, even if the events did spread out into other parts of the Galaxy.

AREN'T THOSE RACES STILL NEGLECTED?

What's so special about VOY anyway, plenty of TNG races were used on DS9.

Yeah, but those shows took place in the same place. If Voyager took place in the AQ/BQ I wouldn't have a problem with it.

I don't see hwy the feds would not try to make contact with some of those species or the Typhon Pact for that matter. why would the fedeartion waste all Voyager's data. Look how widespread the Ferengi became wery shortly after first peacefull contact.

Some DQ races have tio be outgoing or nomadic like the Voth with their city ships or the Hirogen.

^ That was part of the whole reason they sent the Voyager Fleet to the DQ. I believe they said in Full Circle it's mission was to investigate the former Borg territory, and to reestablish contact with the races that Voyager met the first time they were out there.

I guess Beyer forgot about that didn't she?

With the exception of Full Circle which was spread out over a few years, haven't the last few Voyager novels taken place over the span of a handful of weeks/months in 2381? So essentially, they just got there and are working their way backwards systematically. Give it time.

^What they said. Just because we haven't seen familiar races yet, doesn't mean we won't in the future.

Worth mentioning, I suppose, that anyone who wants to see the Voth revisited can pick up either Places of Exile in Myriad Universes: Infinity's Prism or "Brief Candle" in Voyager: Distant Shores.

^ No end has been set. So far it's 8 or 11 books depending on whether you count the String Theory trilogy and including The Eternal Tide, which will be released later this month. However, many regard Kirsten Beyer's books to be a re-relaunch, in which case we're talking about four books including Tide.

Perhaps, but sofar we've only seen the Talaxians, and not even their homeworld or official colony. Although I really love Beyer's work on Voyager, it's time that we saw some more familiar faces.

Maybe I'm remember this incorrectly, but didn't they say in Unworthy that they started out near the border between the Beta and Delta quadrants? And Children of the Storm didn't take place more than a few weeks' travel from there, IIRC.

If anything, it seems more surprising to me that they were in range of Neelix's colony in the first place, instead of not seeing the Krenim or the Hirogen.

^But that's where Neelix's colony was. Voyager was nearly to the Beta Quadrant by the end of the seventh season. And part of the reason the returning fleet chose that destination was because Neelix's colony was nearby.
