Facts about... unnamed Ben Cumberbatch character

F. King Daniel

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
Benedict Cumberbatch's character in Star Trek XII is so damn mysterious, nobody knows who he is.

Not even the people who made the film.

He has a badass floppy coat.

And a floppy fringe.

And a black shirt.

He might be named Garry.

Or Garth.

Or KHAAAAAAAAN!

Or not.

He might be a Klingon in disguise.

And he was Sherlock Fucking Holmes in another life.

He could kick seven shades of crap out of Robert Downey Jr's Sherlock without breaking a sweat.

He beat Spock up so badly, Uhura had to come over to the Space Barge and try to save him.

She shot Cumberbatch's character with a phaser, point blank.

AND HE DIDN'T GO DOWN!

The Klingons in JJTrek wear helmets because they know they could never be as awesome as Benedict Cumberbatch's mysterious unnamed character (henceforth MysUnChar)

Spock can beat up Kirk, MysUnChar can beat up Spock. Kirk wouldn't have a chance.

He shrugs of Vulcan nerve pinches like Transformers shug off small-arms fire.

Actually, it appears that it's the other way around. If you look at the pictures, when he's facing Uhura, his hair is neat and he doesn't seem to have any injuries. But then when he's fighting Spock, he has a wound on his face, on his torso, and his hair is a mess. So I'm guessing that Uhura shoots him, he's mostly uninjured (if you look closely you will see that the phaser is on stun), and then he fights Spock. Where Uhura is during the fight I don't know (dead? unconscious? beamed up?).

I tried to find a link to the great Facts about Captain Robau thread, but it's gone. Apparently too badass for the forum to handle, it has ascended into a greater technological plane.

See also: any of various "Facts About Chuck Norris" lists for the basic model.

Look, as much as I liked some of these Facts threads (esp. the Robau one), even I think the idea's run itself into the ground here.

People were warned to save it:

^Kinda strange tho, that many threads closed long before the Robau one was are still there. Old threads must be deleted by start date, not end.

I had a look and yes, I believe you are right.

"I... dis... agree!"

I've been wondering for some time if Cumberbatch is playing Omne from Marshak and Culbreath's Price of/Fate of the Phoenix novels.

^ Oh God no. Don't even think about it. The thought of anything even remotely related to the Myrshak/Culbreath novels making it onto the screen is not appealing in the least. The Phoenix crap was so badly written it almost made Gene Roddenberry's TMP novelization look good.

Cumby: 'Ello, I would like to buy a sehlat licence, please.
Spock: A what?
Cumby: A licence for my pet sehlat, Spock.
Spock: How did you know my name was Spock?
Cumby: No no no, my SEHLAT's name is Spock. Spock the Sehlat. 'E's a Vulcanian.
Spock: You must be a loony.

Spock: What the hell are you doing?
Cumby: Uhh... the Vulcan neck pinch?
Spock: No, no, no, stupid, you've got it much too high. It's down here where the shoulder meets the neck.
[Cumby changes hand position]
Cumby: Like *this*?
Spock: Yeah!
[Spock falls to the green-screen ground unconscious]
Cumby: Thanks.

Spock: I said, get a grip on yourself!

Cumby: That might be easy for you, but I'm suffering from an identity crisis.
