Smallville Season 11, it"s happening...

The last bit with L & C was rather touching. I'm also beginning to believe their relationship seems real as well.
Really? I've always thought that was one of the few things SV got right. Yes, season 10 was really sappy, but it was still way more genuine than all those years of Clana garbage.

I said Chloe Sullivan died. I never said our Chloe Sullivan died. ;)

Details, details! And here I was about ready to bail out of the whole thing!

:p

Seriously though, this version of SV is well worth the cover price. I'm hopeful the next three issues are released on time, so I can have them to read Boothbay at the end of the month.

:techman:

Just don't praise the Kryptonite Woman storyline or our good Admiral Young will lose his head.

As long as it keeps Lana away from S11, she can remain Krypto-Woman for all of time!

:techman:

Nah, they need to take the kryptonite suit off of her so we can see the fatal super-tumors that will END her Smallville existence so we never have to worry about her returning ever again!

That whole Kryptonite suit was the worst idea in the show. Aside form just being plan silly, it needlessly brought Kreuk back--and the whole way it was handled, I can't help but wonder if Durance took offense behind the scenes.

On top of all that, it's existence was one huge plot hole in the whole Kandorian arch and just comes across as a stupid oversight.

The thing I hated about that storyline was that it fucked up the flow of the burgeoning Lois/Clark romance and worse...

It raised some ugly implications about Clois. It suggested that Clark was settling for Lois because he couldn't have Lana. I really resented the writers and producers for that.

If Brian Q can do ONE thing that would really make me happy that thing would be Clark honestly CHOOSING Lois over Lana. The only way to do that would be to bring Lana back one last time and have Clark make clear that he wouldn't her back even if he could.

That's what I as a fan really want. Once a shipper always a shipper.;)

Man, I'm glad that I'm not the only one who saw things that way! It was like they were steering the show much closer into Superman territory, then suddenly out of the blue (well, sort of), here's Lana and Clark's like 'Lois Who?'

It was pathetic, really. Almost as bad as the abysmal final battle between Clark and Doomsday, which lasted like, what? 30 seconds of screen time?

I can't forgive them for THAT.

:scream:

I'm the only one who forgives them for the Clark/Doomsday fight. In my mind the season wasn't building towards a showdown with Clark and Doomsday. It was building to an emotional confrontation between Chloe, Jimmy and Davis Bloom and the resolution of their fractured love triangle. I was honestly satisfied with the way it turned out.

I am of course the only one.

Someone brought up Kryptonite Woman? WHAT? Brian and Kelly writing unnecessary things at the expense of current plot development? WHAT? :)

I got why they wrote the Doomsday/Clark fight the way they did. That simply though wasn't what fans were expecting or what Brian and Kelly had promised us (ooooh shock) that we were in store for. Frankly they were the Berman and Braga of "Smallville"!!! Yeah...I went there ;)

No. The first storyline just concluded on Friday. The digital edition at least. I think it concludes in print in August.

That's fine, Berman and Braga gave us All Good Things and Star Trek: First Contact. Love those guys. I guess that makes Brian Q. Miller the Ronald D. Moore of Smallville.

As mentioned nothing is in trade yet. We don't know if there will be trades for the print versions released at this point I don't think. Issue #4 of the print versions was just released today. Issue #5 which advertised "Detective" is slated for next month (Rao...we're creeping up to September already!), but I've read nothing about trade offerings.

Yep should be awesome...and AJK...just for clarification I was comparing Brian and Kelly (they talked way too much lol) to Berman and Braga on the basis of all their talking and promises, and not really fulfilling those promises to the fans :) I like the comparison of Miller to Moore though :) I know we differ on Brian and Kelly but ugh. My problem stems from them talking the hell too much and not really concentrating on quality writing. Anyway can't wait for "Detective".
