New Carded Images of the upcoming Emperor's Royal Guard/Nien Nunb Wave of STAR WARS Vintage!

This wave is set to be released this fall(late September/early October?) and will also include repacks of four figures from Walmart's exclusive "Discover the Force" mini-line of Episode I characters.

Lizard arrived. He's just awesome. Incredibly detailed, excellent articulation, wonderful paint apps. Easily one of the best (non Hot Toys) figures of the year. I'm having so much fun posing him and Spidey together:

I tried to find creative uses for metal twisty-ties on some of my STAR WARS stuff but couldn't come up with anything worthwhile.

Cool, I skipped Mawhonic and the Naboo Pilot the first time round as I wanted them on Vintage Cards.

These are all supposed to come out in the fall...possibly late September or early October, but who knows for sure right now. Since we're already getting carded photos it probably won't be much later than the official beginning of autumn before the first copies of these figures hit online retail and then U.S. store chains.

I've got to say, that Aurra Sing cardfront looks absolutely gorgeous. I already own three or four of her Walmart 3-D version from this past February but I'm gonna have to get at least one more of her just to have the awesome packaging.

Well, on the bright side of things the four Episode I repacks won't ship in anywhere near the numbers of all the January and February figures. The chances of seeing Aurra Sing or Mawhonic becoming obnoxious pegwarmers in Vintage Collection packaging are pretty slim.

Seriously, how often do you even see the newer stuff to even begin with?

My niece came over and that's why there are few pets and no luggage. She insisted that she hold onto them for safe keeping.

Don't they just look like a pretty, pony rainbow?
The only thing that annoyed me was Rarity's hair. They had it taped in multiples, and once I got it all undone, her hair parts in 3 different directions. It's going to take a lot of grooming to get that fixed!

I just never liked the look of the brushies, far too like G3 and too far off the proper design. And what is that dog like thing beside what I presume is Twilight?

I'm not sure, but I think it's the little dog/puppy accessory that comes with Sparkle in her package. I've seen them before. Little pets for the Ponies or something.

I'll stick with finding some kind of modelling clay to make a little hat for my AJ figure.

Yeah, which is silly because they could have given Gummy to Pinkie Pie, Spike to Twilight, Angel to Fluttershy, and Opalescence to Rarity, all of which was established in the first half of Season 1. Yet they didn't. I love Hasbro for all of their neat ideas, but I hate that they seem not to act on them when it would benefit everyone, including themselves.
