Given that you have no rational basis for your position that we should single Muslims (or anyone who looks "too Muslimy") out for additional screening, what conclusion is anyone left to draw besides you being either ignorant or bigoted?

Because without the freedoms that have been eroded and stolen from us since 9/11, because of TSA, the vile creation that is the Patriot Act, and all the rest that has happened since then, it doesn't matter if you think I'm ignorant or not. It really doesn't. And it matters less and less each day these things continue.

Of course there will be public announcements on TSA policy and how people or searched. Of course they will be dressed up in all the pageantry that befits a high-paid PR wordsmith. Do you really expect me to believe that you blindly accept everything they tell you? Do you really expect me to believe that things aren't different behind closed doors?

Given that the policy Locutus posted sounds pretty sensible, even if it doesn't 100% reflect the precise day-to-day operations of the TSA, are you claiming it is a complete fabrication? Do you have any evidence for that?

Of course I don't fully trust the government. Doesn't mean I also buy into every stupid tinfoil hat conspiracy, either. You can't even articulate what you're trying to argue. It's like a Republican saying "9/11! Freedom! Terrorists! Security!" String a bunch of words together and call it an argument, when it is anything but.

Well, why would there be a problem with Arabs? Why would anyone racially profile them? Nobody attacked us because they're Arab, but because they're Muslim (admittedly a very extreme form of Islam, but the point remains.) Do you not know the difference between race and religion? And just because you're not the moderator of this particular branch of the forum does not absolve your responsibilities to uphold the BBS policies in general. That's a weak and craven argument to rationalize your own treatment of my statements. Would an off-duty police officer in a county outside his jurisdiction not act if he saw a crime in progress?
