^I just didn't want it to come off as treating you like a side show freak, you know? I studied perception in school as part of my psych and brain science programs, and I just always wish I'd learned more. I find the subject fascinating.

It's not a competition! It's just interesting to see the range of scores and how they play out along men and women.
I actually spent some time studying art, and am the one amongst my friends who can differentiate between similar colors. So, it's pretty funny that I'd do so badly.

Well it seems like biology probably has something to do with it, so I wouldn't think that studying art matters all that much one way or the other. You can probably still appreciate art just fine and run circles around me and others in this thread when it comes to knowledge of art!
Also this is the kind of test where it might also matter if you have patience or not.
I got a 4 as well.
I'm a little confused about the bar graph though...unfortunately I navigated away from my results page before I could grab the picture, but the bars on my graph were all at the same level, at about the level that your four raised bars are Kestra. Does that mean I got one wrong in each row we were given? I'm not sure how to interpret that.

Sure. I also think that people's perception of color is influenced by whether the color is reflected or projected. I feel like I'm making excuses, but my monitor screen with the test was giving me a miserable headache. A set of Pantone cards does not. :/
I did it on my laptop, and I tilted the monitor back and forth a few times, every time the colors appeared different, so I'm sure that played a factor in my score.

No error here though, I found out I was partially colorblind when I enlisted in the Army Reserve six years ago. I was still able to join, but it stopped me from ever being put in the field. (not that I really regret that, it may have saved my life for all I know). Different hues are very difficult to distinguish for me. I'm currently working in retail and just last week had difficulty stocking an aisle of towels correctly.

Speaking of colour blindness; I'm not but my dad is so I kinda notice this sort of thing in people I spend some time with... I once worked at the local power plant (don't know what it's called in English: some sort of 'training' before starting to study). In such a place they have a massive control-room with a great big panel with lots of levers and switches and lots and lots of tiny red and green LED-lights.
At some point I was out back -in the computer room- with one of the guys that normally sat at that panel, fumbling around inside some circuit or other, when I noticed he didn't read the colour-coding on the resistors. When asked he told me he was red/green colour-blind.
Took me a couple of seconds, but when it hit me it really hit me and I had to ask him how he could discern between the go and the no-go signals on the control-panels!
Apparently it was quite easy - One of the two types of LEDs (red and green) that was used emitted a lot more light than the other... it's this kind of thing a red/green-seeing person might never notice

^That is really interesting! It reminds me of an interesting case study of a painter who, after suffering a brain injury, became completely colorblind (after initial depression he embraced his condition and began to paint brilliant black and white pictures). Some researchers did a test with him, giving him dozens of objects and asking him to group them by what he could perceive as "color." At first the groups he made seemed completely random, with objects of many different colors in each group. However, when they watched black and white film of him doing the task, the groups made perfect sense. Possibly something to do with how much light was absorbed by each hue or something...really interesting stuff!
And I think the word you might have been looking for in English for your training would either be internship or apprenticeship, depending on the circumstances.

I got a seven - which surprised me. I thought it would be lower.
I got a zero, which was a total surprise. It didn't seem easy at all and I kept second guessing myself. Often, I had no sense when the order was right, more just when it was wrong. But, it all seemed to work out. I had a tougher time with the middle 2 rows than the outer 2 rows.
It may also be a test of monitor accuracy.

Agreed, I'm sitting in front of an IPS-panel hardware-calibrated for image editing.
Cheap panels aren't known for their colour fidelity.
