Colors!

So my sister sent me this link to a test about how well you see color. The lower you score, the better you do with hues I guess? Don't know how scientific it is but it's kinda fun to see how people do, especially male and female differences. Also I know how people here like to procrastinate and also to take tests and post their results without commenting on anyone else's. :p

I got a 4 which is pretty low, although it said for my age range and gender the best score was 0. :(

Merely 12 here. :p Evidently, teal, chartreuse and lilac don't like me.

This test also reminds me of this interesting game I tried a while back, where you have to match the colours against the clock, each level of the game increasing in complexity:

I scored an 8. Not too shabby. While taking it, there were a few areas that I was unsure of. Nifty little test.

That was one of the hardest tests I've ever taken! -those squares were dancing and my eyes were watering up and in the end I was more just dragging and dropping back and forth than putting them in their place...
Anyway, here's what the test gave me afterwards:

My score was 8. Not bad! I think last time it was 11 or something like that. Maybe my vision's improving! :D

I actually almost did it, even got as far as clicking the link. Then it dawned on me...I'm colorblind. *sigh* I'm having a day...

Are you completely colorblind or bind to specific colors like red/green or green/brown colorblind? I hope this doesn't come off in the wrong way, because I mean no offense by it, but I've always found colorblindness fascinating. My mother had a friend who was completely colorblind -- they found out when he was a child and the family bought their first color tv: he couldn't see the difference. I had a kindergarten student whom I discovered was red/green colorblind. We'd been practicing patterns making Froot Loop necklaces when I noticed him using red and green interchangeably.

If you are completely colorblind your test results might be very interesting. The test is of one's ability to judge hue, which to an extent might correlate with greyscale gradation.

Oh, and I got a 4. As an artist I was rather disappointed with myself!

I can't tell the difference in hues, and I can't tell the difference between red and green.

And no, I don't take any offense. HaHa.
