Go Thunder (former Sonics), Bet they are wishing they'd done the deal that caused them to leave Seattle,Fuck Lyndon Baines Johnson?
I kid.
OKC looks unstoppable...!

I can't believe someone actually put that on an electronic road sign about LeBron. I acknowledge that he was a complete tool the way he went about switching teams, but shouldn't a championship loss to the Mavericks and another slipping away soften people's stance a little?
Not just the matchups, but a Boston/OKC series would fit continue that sort of changing of the guard theme. A historic franchise with a ton of championships and traditions, with several older stars past their prime, versus a new franchise looking to make its own name, with a roster full of young talent.Congrats OKC, this really looks like the changing of the guard with SA, LAL, and Dallas getting up there.
I don't care much who wins the east but I enjoy watching Boston play more. They are much more team oriented. Miami is just either Wade or James on an isolation while 3 guys watch.
The OKC-Boston matchups would be sweet: Westbrook-Rondo, Bass-Perkins, Pierce-Durant, Garnett-Ibaka, and sharpshooting Allen v. d-stud Sefolosha.
Could be fun.
That should be far and away the most frightening stat for the rest of the league to consider.Oh, and Durant's only 23. He won't turn 24 until the end of September. Westbrook will be 24 in November and Harden will turn 23 on August 26.
Wow.Just......no. No, no, no and no. I'd rather see red rimmed eyeglasses, Erkel pants, paintball shirts and backpacks at post game interviews. I like those, thank you.
W, good luck to OKC holding on to Durant, Westbrook, Harden, and Ibaka after thier initial rookie deals and extensions run out, with the new CBA. Durant, barring the unforseen, is going nowhere, but the other guys...
And Westbrook will be what 27 - 28 in the 2017 season, at the peak of his career physically. You think teams won't still want him just because it will be 5 years from now? In fact, OKC may need to trade him a year early if it looks like he is definitely leaving. As I wrote, good luck keeping all of those guys.W, good luck to OKC holding on to Durant, Westbrook, Harden, and Ibaka after thier initial rookie deals and extensions run out, with the new CBA. Durant is signed throught the 2015-2016 season. Russell signed a new contract as soon as the new CBA was in place after the lockout. Oklahoma City has the rights to Westbrook through the 2016-2017 season.
Yes, that's what I wrote. It's Harden or Ibaka they may lose.
Everyone is vocal about wanting to stay. What they really mean is; "if it can be worked out, because if it can't, then I hate to go but sayonara".That's the ubiquitious question on local talk radio. If you can't sign both, which one do you let go? They'll keep one most definitely. There's talk of amnesty-ing Perkins to try and keep both Harden and Ibaka. Ibaka has stated he wants very much to stay. It's Harden who's the question mark. He's not saying he wants to go. Not at all....but he's not putting forth that he wants to stay either. Harden's a bit of a strange bird. All the others are vocal about wanting to stay. If OKC wins a championship and I think they will, he may want to go where he can start, but Oklahoma City is greener pastures now. Does he go where he can get more money and a chance to start if he already has a ring.....that's the question.
