I am curious about the origins of the Turks. The Turks in turkey have strong Caucasian features but the Turks in central asia are mixture of Caucasian and East Asian features. To make it more complicated, The Turkish language is classified under the Altaic languages family group which also includes Mongolic languages, Tungusic languages (Manchurians) , Korean and Japanese languages.

I am quite confused. If the Turks are originally from east asia and then why are the Turks in Turkey look so middle eastern/south east european?

I am just curious. that is all. As you know, i do like to read about the great variety of humans found on earth. I t is an interesting mix of humanity we have on planet earth. The turks are an interesting people .Originally East Asian but now mostly Caucasian.

There is more genetic variance within groups than between them. The idea of race is extremely fuzzy, indeed.

EmoBorg, considering your history on this board, you shouldn't post this kind of question. That makes you suspicious.

There is no fucking "mix" and no discernable difference whatsoever that can be generalised in any meaningful way based on superficial characteristics like skin colour or length of someone's fucking nose.

"I still find it iincredible ... that in this day and age we still use the word 'race' as a cultural determinant..."
