nice interview. Seth Grahame-Smith said Dark Shadows isn't an overt comedy.
Personally, I'm getting the Addams Family movie vibes, which isn't a bad thing as I enjoyed both films.

The mood in those clips is very different from the trailers and the cast really shines here.
Ugh.
Stop it. Tim Burton. JUST! STOP!
That College Humor video of him working with his crew on his idea of a Little Red Riding Hood movie is just about spot on. Sarah Bonham Carter. Johnny Depp. Danny Elfman.
UGH!
Darks Shadows was an okay show from what I've seen of it, hardly something worthy of a lot of dedication but... sheeeessshhh. You just know Tim Burton is going to fuck this up and it's going to be overly morose, go gray it might as well be in black-n-white and even with a talented cast they're going to be so watered down in macabre and speaking like they just took half a bottle of Valium that the movie is going to be utterly unwatchable.
How much longer before Burton becomes such a big joke of a film-maker that he's no longer marketable? How long before he gets the "M. Night Shymalan" effect?
Shit's getting old, Tim. Do something different, will you?
Warner Brothers have released a ton of clips for this film:
