The moderators of this forum work for paramount or CBS?

This is the only explanation I can summon for their persistent and predictable behavior of bias and favoritism on this forum. Any time someone insults that piece of trash 2009 film, threads are closed. Any time an intelligent discussion is attempted, threads are closed, any time those who seek to derail those threads do so, they are NEVER given warnings. Paradoxically, people who attempt to keep a modicum of civility here by asking people to NOT be ad hominem and start personal attacks on intelligent threads, THEY are warned? This is the most persistently illogical behavior available for observation by human eyes. I hereby declare that the moderators of this forum work for paramount or CBS or both and are thus in love with the 'new vision of trek' as advanced by the 2009 dumbed down piece of trash film. I highly recommend anyone with a semblance of intelligence leave this forum and go back to the official forum where there is less favoritism, or to collectively create a better forum and to spread the word about the inherent bias and favoritism of this one. Good riddance.

I am actually not "very" critical of the 2009 film, though I don't love it and I have definitely criticized it on many levels. In fact, I don't love any of the movies, not a one. (No. Not even Wrath of Khan. Especially Wrath of Khan.) Even my favorites I only like. I very much prefer the series. For me, the only value the movies have are when they are the only new Trek out there, in which case they are...sometimes...better than nothing. (Though here again, not Wrath of Khan. You are right - I am not fond of that movie!) But the series are generally sooooooo much better.

BTW, when the Mod, Misfit Toy closed it he gave no reason, just "have a nice day", no warning, no explanation--hmm, now that I think about it, it reminds me of government.
