Spain is standing in for the Old West. Where does it say in that tweet that the Daleks will be in the first five?

No complaints over the choice. A complete unknown to most people except Emmerdale Farm fans.

No, I know that. But there are also rumors that they were doing some filming in Spain as well for a Skaro-based episode. Much like they went to Croatia a few years ago and shot footage for episodes set in Venice and in the French countryside.

Interesting. I guess the debate over who the longest serving nuWho companion is can finally come to an end. Karen Gillan, if she indeed leaves in episode five, will have been in 35 consecutive episodes. IMDB lists Billie Piper at 34, but broken up between seasons. So Karen Gillan wins on both counts!

Well, the new girl being "mysterious" and opening up a new epic subplot seems overly contrived too. I think SM is trying too hard to make his stories multilayered and the result is we get some really convoluted plots. Whatever happened to the Doctor just finding a new friend with no strings attached?
