The only thing wrong with The IT Crowd is the relative lack of episodes.

I think some fans forget that BBT is a sitcom, intended to make people laugh, and not an educational documentary promoting the positive aspects of sci-fi fandom.

Yes, it's just that it's intended to make people laugh at folks who like sci-fi, or think science is cool, etc. As if being educated, a sci-fi fan, or interested in science is somehow worthy of ridicule.

Yeah, who needs a sitcom? People have been doing that all on their own since the beginning of time.

Nah, I was more of a Xena fan. Although I did later get to contribute to a Xena short story collection, which was fun.

But, getting back to the topic at hand, I'm pretty sure I've taken part in some of the conversations on BBT--and I'm not ashamed to admit it!
