Well, I enjoyed it - I think the wait was worth it. I can't imagine that I'm not going to enjoy the whole film once it's out there.

Now I've got to go watch it again!

She's generally considered fairly talented. She has a Tony.

The setpieces in the trailer look impressive. Though more character stuff would be nice.

Did I say otherwise? No, I said I don't get all the moaning. I'm permitted to comment on that as well you know.

Specifically the "it's not broad enough in scope" type remarks.

Comments like the helmet on Cap I can get.

Well, I have to say that the trailers for this movie don't really radiate the sense of fun and excitement that I would expect.

Not that they have been bad or anything. But I was more hyped for some of the individual movies.

Whatever. Still glad it's happening and will be there opening night.

    Yeah she does.

It looks entertaining enough, in that kinda bland "rock music to action scenes" sort of way, but I sure hope the movie feels a little more substantial than some of the recent Marvel movies (IM2, Thor, Captain America), all of which have decently entertaining, yet completely forgettable an hour after the movie was over. It's been disappointing that such iconic characters are in movies that feel so....... lightweight.

Joss Whedon generally has a deft touch with characters and dialogue so I'm really hoping he "brings it" here.

As I've said previously - I'm kind of 'meh' on the trailer - but my favorite parts are actually the ones involving Cap, Iron Man, & Thor. I like the character interactions between them that I have seen so far, and the rumble in the woods look exciting.

I'm a big Hulk fan (I *really* liked Norton film, and the tv show), but for some reason the Banner/Hulk scenes do nothing for me in the trailer. But then again I have never been much of a "comic Hulk" fan, so I guess it shouldn't surprise me that I liked the more down to earth approach in the Norton film.

I thought the trailer was pretty cool. I've been on board 100% on board with this since Whedon's involvement was announced. He's one of my top 3 TV/Movie guys along with JJ Abrams, and Steven Spielberg. I'll at least check out pretty much anything these guys do. Not all of their stuff has been great, but I'm willing to give pretty much anything they do a chance.

I'm starting to like him better than Norton, he reminds me more of Bixby and looks more like a scientist. Each trailer is better than the last, that's a good sign. Of course RDJ looks cooler and cooler.

Agreed. Norton just never seemed like a good fit with the character to me. Too gritty and hard-edged, and not remotely convincing as a scientist.

Ruffalo has much more of that regular, everyday-guy kind of look to him.

I would disagree about Norton, he was pretty good in the part. "The Incredible Hulk" was basically inspired in part or at least had elements from Bruce Jones first two or three Hulk arcs, when Marvel revamped the character prior to Greg Pak's epic run. Norton played the role pretty much exactly how Jones wrote Bruce back in the early 2000's. Ruffalo seems to be playing Banner a little more wiser and low key. Obviously since the events of "The Incredible Hulk" he's attempted to keep calm as possible again.

I like how Banner doesn't want to be involved and Natasha has to "persuade" him.

I wonder what kind of persuasion he required.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Norton's Hulk, but Ruffalo seems to look the part more closer to what I know and grew up. I also think he fits in more with these guys, Norton looks more like a loner. Either one is a good choice, but I went from being pissed about the change, to being excited about this guy. This our third Hulk, so maybe this one will stick.

Lol... Ruffalo looks more like a scientist than Norton? Based on what?

We all have differing opinions, but this one seems bizarre to me. Ruffalo will probably do a good job, but I certainly don't think he is a great fit for a 'scientist'.

I'm with Admiral Young, Norton was great. He also was the most to look closest to how Banner is drawn in the comics. He's drawn as taller and more thin. He can move fast when need be(like knocking a kid into a ditch during a bomb test for example).

While I agree that Ruffalo bears more resemblence to Bixby his TV show version wasn't physically a good match. I have a fondness for the Bixby show but for me I like Norton as casting cause he looks like the Banner drawn in the books. Banna had the same flaws as Banner imo.

Norton was okay as Banner, but nowhere near the no-brainier match that he ought to have been. Possibly that's something to do with the editing and pace of the movie, but more likely it was to do with the slightly lacklustre character scripting. A rewrite by Joss Whedon or Peter David could have done wonders for that movie.

I'm looking forward to Ruffalo. I've no real problem with the idea of both aspects of the character being a blend of the comics and TV show, which is the impression that I'm getting.
