It's gonna be Khan (pretty damn sure now with the pics)

^Kirpan... The knife... We had a big stink about kids being able to wear them in schools here in Ontario. I think England some issues with that too...

Anyway.

Khantrary to what everyone may think, to be Sikh does not mean he Kahn't be white. Heritage is so much more mingled now compared to the mid 21st century.

Of course, Sikhism isn't an ethnicity -- it's a lifeway and religion basically. The problem, of course, with McGyvers guessing that Khan is a Sikh is that none of the identifying "Five Ks" of Sikhs can be seen with Khan. There's no a distinctively wrapped turban, no uncut hair including beard and mustache, no iron or steel bracelet, no small sword in a gatra strap, no special shorts that are all white, and no comb under a turban (because there's no turban). I think that McGyvers was just a lousy historian.

Yep. To be blunt, she wasn't a very good Starfleet officer, either.

I just saw the NEW new set photos today, the ones with Pine and Saldana sitting in their overcoats and Quinto in his gray hoodie.

Yep, definitely going to be Khan.

Hot damn! Uhura's in torn blue jeans. It's a time travel movie. I'm khanvinced their going back to the 1990's to prevent Khanquest of Planet Earth.

But she was hawt!

I hope they run into Pauly Shore, vaporize him and prevent some of the worst movies of that decade from ever happening. BIO-DOME is what led to the Eugenics Wars.

Maybe those are Zoe's real jeans and she slipped into them during a break to feel more comfortable? Who the hell knows. All this speculating is exhausting me.

She seems to be sitting in some kind of transportation vehicle with Kirk. Some kind of ground shuttle? Are they being held prisoners back there by force field? Were Kirk's eyes injured in a fight? A prison cart? The guy in the passenger's seat looks like a smooth-headed Klingon. Maybe they're on a prison barge? [Or, maybe I should walk away from all this for a while.]

By the way, thanks for the link, KingDaniel.

It shows she's a real person. She could certainly afford jeans without holes.

Yep, it's Khan.

Actually, I think they're all coming out of makeup. ZQ has his ears on. Saldana looks to be wearing her ponytail hairpiece.

So, if Cumberbatch is supposed to be playing Khan, that means Weller is going to be....Admiral Nogura. Makes sense.

The guy in the front seat of the cart ( Noel Clarke?) looks like he's wearing an updated version of TOS Klingon uniform.

No matter what, these pics are a lot of fun. They don't show much, but at least they're proof that our beloved STAR TREK is still alive and kicking. And that's more than we could say at this point in 2006.
