I'm saving up dilithium to exchange for C-points so I can buy more space for my Doffs. I never thought I'd pass 100 slots, but man, I'm already there.

You can also open Wordpad, Word or Paint (or almost any office program). When you press Print Screen, switch to the program you opened and hit Paste. This is a low tech work around. Using the screenshot folder is still your best option.

.

Worked! thanks.

I find 100 to be a nice number and don't need more since I can only send my doffs out on a maximum of 20 assignments. With another 10 doffs on space or ground duty, I typically have the remaining 40-50 doffs just idling around doing nothing. Instead, I now try to maintain an even number of doffs of each type as I slowly increase the number of uncommon/rare/very rare doffs. Besides, dismissing a doff earns me development xp so I don't find it a loss.

Heh. I know the feeling.

I'm actually debating into acquiring 100 doffs more AND 25 more doff mission slots, but the dil grind for that is somewhat annoying. I want to get all renowns, already have two (delta volanis and rolor nebula), plus the "guinan" doff.

On the Contraband, I tend not to part with it, because it's needed for the "build turret/platform from prototype plans" doff mission. I have 11 assorted turret plans waiting to get the mission to build them, and about 25 contraband. I have two already built.

On the DOFFs, I found that 125 or 150 is a good workable number.

More than that and you'll have doffs that aren't employed. Less than that and you'll be thin in a few areas. I try to have 3 or 4 DOFFs for most specializations. On specializations that correspond to the char's field, I may have more. That is a Tac char would have additional sec/tac doffs, Engr char would have additional engr/ops doffs and Sci chars would have additional med/sci doffs.

Next time you collect your doff rewards, stop and look at the entire roster:
- Do you have the doffs you need in your Space and Ground slots?
- Do you have extra rare or very rare doffs that could be better utilized on another of your characters? Just mail the doffs to them.
- Do you have too many commons or uncommon in a certain specialization? Send them to your other chars or sell on the Exchange then use the funds to buy what you need.
- You can pick up a few extra doffs from the doff POC for a small amount of dilithium. Recommend that you only do that for doffs to fill critical shortages though.
- You can also dismiss surplus doffs for a small amount of dilithium.

Now that that's out, you might wanna move fast; Cryptic practically invented the concept of changing a raid to defeat widely-publicized methods of winning. They used to change Hamidon every few months to shake up raid strategy.

If everybody is avoiding those lines, Gozer will move them, or change the trigger.
He won't. As with the rest of the Cryptic staff, he has a very busy schedule (what with Cryptic being understaffed and all).
So even if he wanted to change it, he probably won't be able to anytime soon.
The map has been out for quite a while, without any changes. Cryptic knows we know the trigger lines. At least PWE_Bran_Flakes does, as he runs STFs with us during his spare time.

Due to the shortage of shuttle class vehicles available, the Federation has decided to issue another model... LOL

Anyway, the engine sounds cool. Might fit nicely on my Delta Flyer. Everyone has a shuttle outfitted and standing by, right? Just in case you need it anytime soon. ;-)

I've not had a problem with only 100 doff slots so far. I tend to keep around 2 or 3 per specialisation (with the exception of Security, Amoury and Diplomats, which have up to 5 each).

Whenever I hit the maximum, I go through and clear out any White doffs from specs that have to many, down the the minimum of two, which raises a nice little bit of dilithium too.

The large Dilithium doff rewards that I've published over the past few days were all achieved wit only 100 DOffs/20 slots on each toon.

I had one Cardassian Gold Box in my bank that's been there since the first day they came out. I was minding my own business wandering through Zeta Andromedae when I spotted an Azura hovering. Needing to drop off some DOff mission rewards, I use it. I remember the Box is there. Since the Azura gives me Exchange access, I quickly look up the current price of Master Keys. 982k. So, I decide to go for it.

And then this happened:

I did the same thing and didn't luck out quite as much, but i got the klingon Graviton pulse console out of it, which is also very nice.
makes one almost think the hit chances with the golden boes are not too bad after all.
The fact, that you can buy master keys for haölf an hour loot collecting is not too bad either.

I have the patience to wait for the price of master keys to drop below 750k. I have the patience to wait for the price of master keys to drop below 750k. I have the patience to wait for the price of master keys to drop below 750k.

Okay, I'm already getting a headache from the Operation Gamma. I should have waited a few days until they got some of the bugs out...

Congrats both of you. So far I've only had one gold box, and that was from an STF. It only contained a group of team consumables. I've been hoping to find more gold boxes, but so far all I've seen are about a hundred of the green lock boxes.

I got 12 lock boxes from the Operation Gamma mission. I have a bank full of them, and so I'm just going to sell them all on the exchange for maybe 2 credits, and by that I mean total. :p

I've got to correct my previous post.

Apparently, either I misread or Cryptic changed it, though my money is in my misreading.

I was sure that the offers in the doff window were one for 100 additional space for doffs, and the second for 25 additional mission doff slots, that is, increasing your simultaneous running doff missions from 20 to 45.

As it is not so, and you are limited to 20 missions, adding 100 additional officers, even 25, serves no purpose. Right now, one of my toons has enough doff mission packs to fill 50 personnel slots and like 8-10 missions that reward 2-3 new officers, but if I want to keep increasing the "recruitment" cxp bar, I need to keep doing missions and getting more officers, which I don't have any place to put them.

But 100 officers is enough for those 20 mission slots. As long as there is no way to run more missions simultaneously, adding doff crew slots is mostly pointless.

By the way, the change with the latest patch that allows to see your chained missions progress is nice.

Agreed. After clearing out some of my whites, I realize I don't need anymore Doffs. I'm able to fill every mission slot with at least two greens if not better. So more would be redundant and silly until they allow more slots.

I didn't encounter any bugs, but I felt the tone of the mission was just all over the place. It started out like one of BSG's military ops episode but quickly segways into a crappy DS9 Ferengi comedy episode. Not only that, its way too predictable. The second I saw the Ferengi shuttle, I knew I was going to be double crossed. I also knew the Vorta was going to demand the return of his god.

If I were to guess, the next mission is to escort the changeling to DS9, but she is going to somehow get rescued. As a result the Dominion isn't going to turn over the station.

You are limited to 20 assignments normally. However, I've had up to 23 or 24 counting the recruitment actions. The only reason to have more than 150 doffs is just for roleplaying (or too lazy to dismiss your whites).

Yes, Heretic mentioned that he was going to add in the chain progress tracker a few weeks ago. Glad to see it there.
