The where do you get your news from thread

The internet is my usual source, generally a mess of various feeds & sources though probably mainly Yahoo and BBC. If there's a particular current event I'm interested in, I tune into either Sky News or BBC 24. I also read whatever paper happens to be lying around in my favourite coffee shop on the days I pop in there for a bite to eat. That typically tends to be one of the Guardian, the Telegraph or the Independent. I occasionally browse a friend's copies of Private Eye (for the lulz) and The Economist (for the bigger lulz).

Local: Anchorage Daily News online and Alaska Dispatch online
Local (former 'location'): Atlanta Journal-Constitution online
National/International: CNN online, Huffington Online, MSN online, BBC
Music: Pitchfork, Loudwire, Ultimate Classic Rock
Hilarious commentary and deserved potshots at politicos: The Daily Show, The Colbert Report

Other: All kinds of stuff comes across my Facebook feed from liking stuff and via stuff others post...from a variety of sources.

Twitter feed.

Various things coming through PBS: Newshour, Nightly Business report, Democracy Now, BBC, NHK, etc.

KPFA

A variety of places for "Current Events" type of news:
CNN.com
USAToday.com
Yahoo News (usually just glimpsing articles on the home page)
Local newspaper website

Local News - lunch with my coworkers
News - facebook and Channel One (10 minute news program shown during homeroom)

I have several facebook friends who are news junkies and post everything they find of interest on facebook, so it kind of works.

BBC, Al Jeezera, and Link Mosaic. The only way to get a non-American propagandized viewpoint on events.

I get news from the local news radio station WBBM Newsradio 780. It's the only reason my radio ever tunes in AM radio.

Internet/Print: Christian Science Monitor, Washington Post, New York Times, Time

Radio: NPR, BBC

TV: The Daily Show, The Colbert Report
