I just might have to get this (Topless Robot pegs the price at $130). I just might...
Yeah. Very disappointed - I was hoping someone had announced they were actually coming out with a real one, which would have been perfect since the film was set in 2015.
Someone needs to get moving on establishing a chain of 1980s-inspired cafes with Max Headroom-esque waiters too. Time's a wastin'!
Someone better get moving on that big pyramid building in Los Angeles if they want to get it open by 2019, too...

I had a strong fascination with the hoverboard, so I'd love to have one of these. I totally forgot about the pole Marty took off though, and wouldn't have thought about it if it hadn't been mentioned.

I'll wait for the actual hovering one, but it's good to see the prototype coming out now. They've still got a few years to make the hover one; no need to give up hope yet!
It's an odd prop replica to make considering a dedicated fan could probably fabricate one himself inside of an afternoon (granting the paint scheme on it wouldn't be exactly the same) It's "nifty looking" but it'd be a bit cooler if came with a display stand or something that allowed it to "hover" using magnetism or something. Otherwise this is just a nifty looking piece of plastic with niche connections.
I wonder if some jackass is going to buy this and then sue because it doesn't actually hover.

I might get one depending on the price. I would have gotten a pair of Nike Mags (despite the lack of power laces) had they been a reasonable price and I could wear them.
At least Major League Baseball made some appropriate corrections by changing "Florida" to "Miami." Now all they need to do is change their mascot to a cartoon alligator and move them to the American League. After that, it's up to the Chicago Cubs to win the 2015 World Series.
