Guys, DON'T HOTLINK PHOTOS!!!!!
This means, if you find a cool photo and want to post it here, FIRST, save it to your hard drive. THEN use Photobucket or some photo service and save it there. THEN post it.
Hotlinking uses bandwidth at other sites and pisses them off.
In future, don't hotlink. I have to go through this entire stupid thread and figure out which are hotlinked and which aren't and strip out the hotlinked ones. I. Don't. Like. Doing. This.
It's a board-wide rule not to hotlink. If you're unfamiliar with the rules, then please go and refresh your memory on them.

Well, since we can't go back and edit our posts and re-upload the pics (which I never understood why), you might as well kill this "stupid thread" as you call it (which I thought was far more interesting than some of the other stuff that gets posted here) and everyone can go back to bitching about Abrams' movie.
Sorry we pissed you off Bonz, but you might have found a better way to express your feelings than shitting on our creativity and fun. By the way, this thread has been getting a lot of views which means quite a few people disagree with your opinion that it is stupid. You might want to revisit your managing skills.

Can people calm down and continue from where they left off? This was definitely one of the most interesting threads here in a looooooong while.
I'd love to, but we can't go back and re-edit our earlier posts and insert new pics which kind of screws up the integrity of the story. Also, apparently this thread is "stupid" as per a self-important and rude person who unfortunately acts as a mod and who signs her posts with "bite me."

Mea Culpa, and please forgive the faux pas, as unequivocally the pictures were not posted correctly.
Of course no one meant any purposeful offense, and certainly did not purposely intend to waste time of another person, or add to their burden with regard to their daily policing duties.
However having a 'Moderator' denounce our collective creative effort as STUPID - in a public forum no less - is completely and utterly so uncouth and de'classe', that it is only the restraint of my character and upbringing which prevents me from expounding further on the character and upbringing of someone who would.
And yes SKY, a great number of people from this message board will be disappointed; however, from the sheer volume of messages I have received in response to this crass and purposefully damaging comment posted by T'BONZ, everyone is too busy being focused on being shocked and offended.

Guys, please cut Bonz some slack here. Her annoyance clearly isn't at the content of the thread itself but the labor involved in locating and eliminating the hotlinks (and I thought that was a kind of sausage). Hotlinking is a quasi-legal, ethical problem that we face over at The Omega Sector all the time due to the huge collection of screen caps. I invite a re-launch of the idea with a statement in the original post to deter any linking of the pix. Although I was only speed reading the thread, I was very curious to see where it would lead.
