Okay, this is odd I know but this guy found a UFO on the moon that I swear looks just like the ship in Star Trek Voyager. I checked out his NASA sources and yep, its there. You guys have any ideas about this? From what he says compared to the size of the crater its in, the ship is over 10km long. It looks really cool.

Could Voyager be real?:klingon:

Its at UFO Sightings Daily

Dirt and shadow.

Plus what are known as "artifacts", from the resolution.

The pixels (the data used to create such images) tend to distort all detail below a certain size. If there are a couple of objects side-by-side that are each about a pixel wide, then the image might show them as one large object, and so on. Pretty much the same as for the whole 'Face On Mars' and/or 'Aliens On The Moon' thing.

Plus plus, go through enough pics of any fairly randomzied landscape (on Earth or elsewhere - any magnification) and you will soon find lots of weird things - Smiley Faces, Jesus On A Tortilla Chip, whatever.

These things can be very entertaining to find, but I''l bet that in any/all pics of different resolution, taken from different angles and lighting, it will look quite different.

Of course Voyager is real. She flew over Los Angeles back in the 1990's, tens of thousands of people saw her.

I couldn't see anything.

It was a bit chuckleworthy to click on the link and try and spot this "ship" from the photos. I couldn't do it, either. I just plain couldn't. Only the video clip with the cursor-waving finally shed light on what the guy doing the "spotting" was thinking...

It looks like a hill lit up by the sun. Or a Flash Gordon rocketship.

How is it a UFO when it's very clearly crashed?

Good heavens, once again Captain Braxton missed it up. :p

The moment I saw that image, the Voyager theme tune started playing in my head. It looks like it would fit in with the majestic opening sequence of Voyager's scenic tour of unknown worlds.

I looked at that image again and I saw Voyager flying out of a gigantic nostril just above an upturned moustache. Must've missed that episode, "Fantastic Voyage".

Its sad so many Trekies do not believe in aliens. The shame of it all. Is this just an artifact?

I believe in aliens in a mathematical sense. I'm sure life exists out in the universe ~somewhere~. Just don't think its all that likely that they are darting around our solar system.
