And it gave us the great scene in "not fade away:"

"would you like me to lie to you now?"
"yes, thank you, yes."

and
"take your best shot, little girl."

I always liked this one:

Illyria: Wesley's dead. I'm feeling grief for him. I can't seem to control it. I wish to do more violence.

It really showed that Fred was definitely a part of Illyria.
