Yes, that's the AWESOM-O robot from South Park lol. I showed my 1-4th graders the completely non-offensive musical scene where Butters sings "my robot friend." After teaching a series of shapes (they already know colors pretty well) I instructed them to invent a robot-friend with basic shapes to present in class next week.

When I woke up this morning I wasn't entire sure what I was going to do today lol...

You do realize most of them have web access, and probably found the offensive parts? Awesome! :guffaw:

Haha, nah--- South Park isn't really a "thing" here and the kids are really young (elementary grades 1-4 for this assignment, though I do teach older kids). The clip in question just involves butters playing basketball w/ his Robot, eating burgers, singing merrily and then walking away into the sunset.

Sometimes a last minute inspiration turns out great. Looks like this was a fun class! I hope you'll show us some of the kids' robot friends next week.

Thanks Tora Ziyal! I'll definitely post some. They are in the teacher's hands right now, I'm having them present them next week :).

So Adam Sandler falls in love with a girl, but she's actually a Golden Retriever...

Hahaha, we'll call it "Puppy Love!"

Gentlemen, Ladies, we all know that we live in a time of uncertainty. The risk of an attack on American soil is higher than ever. Now, I believe we may be able to curb that risk. Two days ago our intelligence department came across this: The AWESOM-O 4000. It is currently being used by Catamount Pictures to develop ideas for movies. Our sources say that in just one week it has come up with over one thousand movie ideas, eight hundred of which feature Adam Sandler.
