My Amazon account still lists my delivery date as Tuesday.
So, when they get around to remastering Shades of Gray do you think they'll manage to make it a watchable episode?

Why do you say that?
. Most horrific shot in TNG for me, nevermind the gore in Conspiracy, the corpse in Hotel Royale (well ... that one is more awkwardly funny really) or whatever - that frozen moment of Beverly's body being torn apart/disolved from the midsection outward just makes me shudder. On second thought I'm not sure what HD will do to it, though - the increased clarity might make it a more obvious effect shot and leave less to the imagination, dulling the impact.
Because that's what the DVDs look like. Those comparisons are all DVD sourced, enlarged to match the size of the Blu caps. Why do all of these before/after transition links being posted have the new bluray screen caps being compared with what appears to be a capture from a dusty VHS tape, pulled out of a box from a shed, and then played back on a broken TV and then photographed with a Kodak Disc camera and scanned in?

Does the saucer curve change between the 4 and 6 foot models?
