It's not. The explosion is green, and ambient light from it is giving a greenish hue to everything.

The ship looks really cool. Of all the post-series ship designs (Titan, the Voyager fleet etc), the Aventine is the only good looking one, IMO.

The picture, however, looks way too cluttered to me. The angle of the ship and explosion are cool. Add a bajillion phaser beams, a dozen rapid-firing torpedoes firing at something in another direction and an incoming death ray and shield effect, and you've got a major case of fanwank overkill ruining it. IMO.

Very nice, and I really love the new angle. But I can see the strings holding the model up. They probably would have been less noticeable if they had used fishing line instead of bright orange and green strings.

Its a nice ship but to me it looks too sqaured off. The nacells look like there are from the Star Trek 2009. I always pictured the nacells to be more streamlined like the E-E

same generator as the Intrepid class then...

personally i think it's one of the nicest designed ships to come out of ST for a while now... lot better than the build they used for the Intrepid or Sovereign class
