Last night, I was looking for a good comedy, so I watched Lone Wolf McQuade. This is Chuck Norris at his most cheesy action movie best: a tough Texas Ranger who takes no prisoners...and who gets a sidekick, a young rookie state trooper who looks very familiar: Yep, that's Robert Beltran, better known here as Chakotay, who wound up teaming up with Chuck. I had no idea Beltran was even in this film until I saw him in it last night. Sean
That is impressive! I tell you what else is impressive: USS Kongo's avatar of Seven! What episode is that from?
Thanks! It's from the sixth episode of the fourth season, "The Raven". It's the scene where Neelix is teaching Seven how to eat for the first time. I've been watching Voyager on Netflix these past few months, and when I saw this bit, I thought she looked so fetching, I made an avatar of it. Sean
Yeah, I knew he was in that. I agree, Comet is a fun film. Didn't know Beltran was in Eating Raoul. I've also seen that, but it was long before Voyager aired when I first saw it. Sean
LOVED Lone Wolfe McQuade. I remember seeing that for the first time in like 1996 or something. When I saw him I was like: is that who I think it is??? WOW he looks so young! Personal favorite movies of his: Managua, Kiss Me a Killer, The Bull Dance, and Eating Raoul.
Personal favorite Robert Beltran movies. Hmmm...difficult to choose actually! "Gaby: A True Story" and "To Die Standing" would be up the top of my list. But I also really love it when he gets a chance to do comedy and we don't see that very often. Like he does in "Eating Raoul" and "Scenes From A Class Struggle In Beverly Hills". Favorite TV would be "Murder She Wrote: A Time To Die" (as Frank Garcia) and "State Of Emergency". I love it when he cries in "Managua"! Totally believable! Chuckling
My favorite Beltran movies are "Gaby: A True Story", "To Die Standing" "Scenes From A Class Struggle In Beverly Hills", "Mystic Warrior", KMAK, "Latino", Night of the Comet". I haven`t seen "Managua".
